Heath Village is a small settlement located near Wakefield, in West Yorkshire, England. It is a suburb of the city of Wakefield and is situated between the villages of Outwood and Stanley.

The area now known as Heath Village was once a rural farming community, with scattered farms and cottages. The village grew in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as Wakefield expanded and more people moved to the area. The village was served by a railway station on the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway line, which closed in the 1960s as part of the Beeching cuts.

Today, Heath Village is a quiet residential area with a mix of older properties and more modern developments. It has a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as a primary school and a community centre. The village is surrounded by green fields and countryside, with several nature reserves and parks nearby, including Pugney's Country Park and Newmillerdam Country Park.

Heath Village has a rich history, with several notable buildings and landmarks, including the Grade II listed St. Peter's Church, which dates back to the 13th century, and the Heath Old Hall, a former manor house that was once owned by the de Heeth family. The village also has strong links to the local mining industry, with several former coal mines located nearby.
