It was supposed to be the year that Dicky Sykes, Beverley Arms and Dan Doway finally took the Ackworth Pram Race by storm.

Their lovingly prepared racing cart was ready. The team was ready. The annual Ackworth Pram Race was just around the corner.

Then disaster struck.

Sometime during the night, their cart was deliberately destroyed. Not damaged. Not vandalised.

Destroyed beyond repair.

Someone wanted to make sure Dicky, Beverley and Dan never made it to the starting line.

But who?

Inspectors Hugh Dunnit and Sue Them have been called in to investigate. They've identified a number of suspects, but with everyone claiming to be innocent, the case is far from straightforward.
