Rapunzel at Pocklington Arts Centre

Bring the Harvest Home – Many Hands Market

Saturday 26 September, 1pm–4pm at The Beverley Barn. A community gathering of local growers, makers and healers with workshops, demonstrations, slow food, street food, live acoustic music and a kids' corner. Adults £5; under-16s free; community pay-what-you-can tickets are available.

1940s Weekend at Burton Constable Hall

Step back into the 1940s with living history camps, vintage vehicles, period entertainment and displays.

Trojan Hull Seahawks v Telford Tigers

Sunday 27 September, 5.30pm at Hull Ice Arena. The Trojan Hull Seahawks host Telford Tigers in an NIHL National Cup ice hockey fixture, with the Seahawks promising fast, family-friendly entertainment on home ice.

Travellers and Settlers: A History of Ethnic Diversity, Migration and Settlement in the East Riding of Yorkshire

Yorkshire Coast Trail Race Series

5k, 10k and 22k trail races from 9:30am on Sunday 4 October, plus a free family fun run at 10:15am. Entry free–£32.

Butt Farm Pumpkin Patch

A family-run working-farm pumpkin patch with thousands of pumpkins, a spooky trail, weekend face painting and crafts, and half-term pumpkin carving. Open on selected dates from 26 September to 31 October, 10am–4pm; entry is by charitable donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

New Dawn Fades

Saturday 26 September, 7.30pm at Hull City Hall. New Dawn Fades tells the story of Joy Division and Manchester, combining theatre, history and music from the late-1970s scene. Prices from £31.50.

Beverley Open Studios 2026

Artists and makers open their studios across Beverley and HU17 on 3–4 and 10–11 October, 10am–4pm.

Mayor's Sunday – Hedon

Sunday 4 October 2026. Civic parade leaves Hedon Market Place at approximately 1.40pm, followed by a service at St Augustine's Church at 2pm. Town-centre road closures will be in place.

Poetry Reading and Book Launch

A free launch and live reading of new poetry written in and about Goole Museum, featuring local young writers and Yorkshire and Humber poets responding to the museum’s objects and historic landscapes. 2pm–4pm; no booking needed.

Beverley Festival of Christmas 2026

Free one-day Christmas festival across Beverley town centre with more than 120 stalls, Santa and his reindeer, a parade and live entertainment.
