Eccup Reservoir Winter Walk

This roughly 4.5-mile circuit near north Leeds takes walkers through a mixture of woodland, open farmland and the village landscape around Eccup Reservoir. The waterside setting is particularly attractive during the quieter winter months, and red kites are often seen in the surrounding countryside. Allow time for changing conditions underfoot and enjoy a longer outdoor outing rather than a short lakeside stop.
