Walk to the Edge of Yorkshire – Spurn
East Yorkshire
EVENT AT A GLANCE
18 October 2026
Spurn National Nature Reserve, Spurn Road, Kilnsea
ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join Yorkshire Wildlife Trust guides for a challenging seven-mile return walk to the tip of Spurn, exploring the shifting landscape and its natural, maritime and military history. The route crosses uneven beach terrain and lasts around six hours, so it is intended for experienced adult walkers and is not suitable for children or dogs. Meet at Spurn Discovery Centre, where there are toilets and a café, and bring a packed lunch, water and sturdy footwear. Tickets are listed at £33 plus fees.
