What's On This Weekend 26-27th
Yorkshire is heading into the final full week of September with plenty going on across all four regions. We currently have 32 verified events in the White Shire calendar for 21–27 September, including 30 taking place across the weekend itself. From food festivals and live music to community markets, family events, heritage, comedy and theatre, there is a strong mix of big days out and genuinely local events.

We have also made the event listings easier to use when you are actually heading out. Open any event's details page and use the new Click for Directions button. It opens Google Maps with the event location and postcode ready as the destination, so you can go straight from choosing an event to getting there.

West Yorkshire this week
West Yorkshire has a particularly varied week. Thursday brings Leeds 400 – Meet the Archive at Leeds Art Gallery and the Keighley Market Walking Tour, before the weekend fills up with markets, food, family activities, live entertainment and local heritage.
East Riddlesden Apple Festival – apple varieties, juicing, talks and demonstrations on Saturday.
Comedy Night – September – Saturday evening stand-up at Wakefield Exchange.
Voices Of Valjean at Halifax Minster – three West End Jean Valjeans with a live band.
Craft & Flea Makers Market – independent makers, designers and vintage at Wakefield Exchange on Sunday.

North Yorkshire this week
North Yorkshire already has the York Food & Drink Festival 2026 running through the week, while the weekend brings one of the strongest mixes in the county.
Scarborough Jazz Festival – three days of jazz at Scarborough Spa from Friday to Sunday.
Masham Sheep Fair 2026 – a free two-day rural fair with sheep showing, racing, crafts and family entertainment.
Plant Sale at York Museum Gardens – the gardens' final plant sale of the year on Saturday.
