Looking for a nice easy countryside walk in East Yorkshire? This 5.26-mile Spalding Moor Circular Walk explores the wonderfully flat and open landscape around Holme-on-Spalding-Moor in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

If you're looking for a longer but easy countryside walk in East Yorkshire, our 5.83-mile Holme-on-Spalding-Moor Circular Walk is a great way to explore one of the quieter landscapes of the East Riding. Lyn and I personally walked, photographed and GPS recorded this route for The White Shire.

Staithes might be one of Yorkshire's best-known coastal villages, but getting out onto the surrounding footpaths gives us a very different experience from simply wandering around the harbour. Our 4.93-mile Staithes Circular Walk combines the historic fishing village with dramatic coastal scenery, countryside and sections of the Cleveland Way.

Looking for an easy circular walk in the Yorkshire Wolds? Our 5.17-mile South Cave and Yorkshire Wolds Circular Walk explores the rolling countryside near this historic East Yorkshire village, with open farmland, rural paths and some lovely views across the Wolds. Lyn and I personally walked, photographed and GPS recorded this route for The White Shire. We'd rate it as an easy walk overall, although there are some uphill and downhill sections along the way.

Sitting on the western edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, Market Weighton makes a great starting point for exploring this quieter part of East Yorkshire on foot. Our Market Weighton Circular Walk takes us from the town into the surrounding countryside, giving Lyn and me a mixture of rural paths, Wolds scenery and local history. We rate this walk as easy–moderate.

Our 6.2-mile Welton Loop Walk is one of our longer easy walks, taking us from the attractive East Yorkshire village of Welton into the rolling countryside of the Yorkshire Wolds. Lyn and I personally walked, photographed and GPS recorded this route for The White Shire.
