A Day Out at Keighley Agricultural Show

Yesterday, me, Lyn and Ally went to the Keighley Agricultural Show for the afternoon.

We had a good wander round and there was plenty to see, with lots of stalls, local businesses and things going on. The show has a good mix of livestock, horticulture, trade stands, food and family entertainment. You can find out more about the show on the Keighley Agricultural Show website.

Ally's main priority was finding the pick and mix, which didn't take him long!

We met Olly from Herd & Hive while we were there. We regularly buy our honey from them online, so it was nice to finally meet him in person and have a chat.

We also met Sarah from Hawkcliffe Farm Produce. It's another good example of a farm diversifying and finding different ways to make a living from the farm. It's always interesting seeing what local farms and small businesses are getting up to.

The stunt quads were a big favourite with the crowds. They certainly attracted plenty of attention and there were lots of people watching them.

For me, it was also good to get back into this part of Yorkshire. I lived around here as a lad, so I know the hills pretty well. It brought back a few memories being back in the area.

It was a good afternoon out, with plenty to see and a few familiar faces to meet along the way.
