A Cosy Stay in November We visited Willows Holiday Park in November, and even though the weather was cool, our caravan was wonderfully warm and comfortable. A 3.64-mile circular walk in Withernsea, combining sections of the seafront promenade, town paths and surrounding countryside. The Victorian pier towers and lighthouse are distinctive landmarks in the town.

Staithes might be one of Yorkshire's best-known coastal villages, but getting out onto the surrounding footpaths gives us a very different experience from simply wandering around the harbour. Our 4.93-mile Staithes Circular Walk combines the historic fishing village with dramatic coastal scenery, countryside and sections of the Cleveland Way.

A 4.99-mile circular walk from Slaithwaite in the Colne Valley, beginning with a steep uphill section and returning through easier ground including canal-side paths.

A 3.68-mile circular route around Skipsea near the East Yorkshire coast, passing through countryside beyond the holiday-park area.

A 4.35-mile loop around Filey, including the seafront, coastal sections and town paths with views across Filey Bay.

Lyn and I walked 5.56 miles one way from Filey to Cayton Bay, then caught the bus back. Our moderate Yorkshire Coast walk with its original Komoot route.
