A Stay at Fairview Apartment, Pocklington

Comfortable Accommodation Near Pocklington

A few years ago, Lyn and I stayed at Fairview Apartment for a long weekend. The apartment is beside The Mile Farm Shop, just outside Pocklington, making it a convenient base for exploring the town and the surrounding East Yorkshire countryside.

We found the accommodation to be excellent value for money. It was clean, spacious and warm, giving us a comfortable place to relax throughout our stay.

An Easy Walk into Pocklington

Fairview Apartment is around a 10 to 15-minute walk from Pocklington town centre. The route follows a good path along a well-lit road, so we found the walk straightforward.

Pocklington has a good selection of independent shops, cafés, pubs and places to eat. The Pocklington Community Hub is a useful source of local information, with details of amenities, community groups and things to do around the town.

You can also find upcoming activities on The White Shire’s What’s On in East Yorkshire page.

The Mile Farm Shop and Café

One of the best features of staying at Fairview Apartment is having The Mile Farm Shop and café right next door.

It was lovely being able to walk across for breakfast, and we enjoyed a particularly good breakfast there one morning. Having the farm shop nearby was also convenient during our stay.

Free Parking at the Apartment

Free parking is available, which made Fairview Apartment a practical choice for our long weekend. We could leave the car at the accommodation when walking into Pocklington while still having it available for trips further afield.

The apartment is well placed for exploring the countryside around Pocklington and the Yorkshire Wolds. Visit our East Yorkshire Walks page to discover more personally walked routes across the region.

A Great-Value Stay Near Pocklington

Our stay at Fairview Apartment was comfortable, convenient and excellent value for money. The clean and spacious accommodation, free parking and easy walk into Pocklington made it a good base for the weekend.

Having The Mile Farm Shop and café next door was an added bonus, especially when we could start the day with a lovely breakfast without having to travel anywhere.
